The Calderwood Seedling Fund Community Grants Program is a management account of Community Enterprise™ Charitable Fund. ABN 12 102 649 968. The Bendigo Centre, Bendigo, VIC, 3550. The Calderwood Seedling Fund is made possible by the support of Sprout Hub Calderwood and the Calderwood Project Partners Lendlease.

Did you know that 10 cents from every dollar you spend at Sprout Hub Calderwood goes into the Seedling Fund? The Seedling Fund is a community-led grant initiative that aims to promote and enable local groups to do great things in the community. In a process similar to crowd funding, the community votes for which projects get the majority of the $’s. We call it a ground up grant – money raised by the community, for the community.

Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation Warrigal Employment: Traditional Aboriginal learning with native plants

Warrigal Employment provides advocacy and culturally appropriate services to meet the social, cultural and economic needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Seedling Fund will be used to support a fun and innovative project that will see school kids planting native plants at Warrigal Employment’s community garden along with engaging in traditional learning methods including demonstrations and knowledge-sharing from an Aboriginal Elder.
